Zone 1&3 Traditionally, this zone is regarded as the "brother" to the baldder and digestive system. If you breakout frequently in this area, it might mean that you need to improve your elimination of toxins by drinking more water and eating more "whole" and less refined white sugar foods. Zones 5&9 The cheeks often give an accurate glimpse into any respitory distress. Smokers or people suffereing from allergies generally experience fine broken capillaries or congestion in this area. Deep lines that run vertically up the cheek may mean long-term lung stress. Zone 2 This ares is related to the liver. Congestion in this zone can indicate over consumption of alcohol, rich spicy foods and possibly a food allergy such as lactose. Also known as the "wine and dine" area, if you experience flakiness, try to eat early so that food is properly digested. Zone 7 A reddened nose can indicate heightened blood pressure or the early stages of rosacea. This area tends to congest becasue of the excess of sebum production. Zones 6&8 The eyes are truly a window to the body's health because they are related to the kidneys.Dark circles, whilst can be hereditary, are made worse by dehydration, poor elimination and lack of sleep. Eye irritation can mean allergies or a dificency in your diet. Zones 4&10 The ears are a highly sensitive area also related to the kidneys. If you notice that your ears are very hot you might be stressting them out. Drink plenty of ater and cut down on caffeine, alcohol and red meat. Zones 11&13 If you have had extensive dental surgery or having problems with wisdom teeth, you might notice a breakout in the jaw area near the ears. It may also indicate problems with testicals. Zone 12 Breakouts can indicate hormonal imbalance, possibly caused by stress. Redness and congestion can also suggest problems with the small intestine. Zone 14 Breakouts in this area is an indication of high stress levels. Pigmentation may reveal photosensitivity to fragrances and aftershave lotions being used over a long period of time. You may also need to look at your shaving regime.
